Kenya Staff Training

Hello all,

Well we just got done with our Kenya staff training. We had such an amazing time. There were several classes that we sat through teaching us how to communicate and help the teens that are coming in, and also classes to help us grow as a team. We fellowshiped together and now the teens are coming in from all over Kenya and some from Sudan! We are so excited for the weekend that we have with the teens and the celebration time we have with them on saturday. Rod, Betty, and Nancy taught classes during our staff training time and were wonderful. The people here are so amazing and we thank God every day that he has given each of us the opportunity to be here together to experience them.
Let's see what else to say, oh my goodness, the food. It's so good!! They feed us very well here. And it's all delicious. Oh man you need to try some ugalli, and eat it with your fingers! It makes it taste that much better! Especially with a hint of hand sanitizer. =] The Michigan team is here and we have been blessed to get to work with them as well.
Saturday is the next big day on our list. It is the ten year anniversary of CYIA here in Kenya. There is going to be a time where teens will come and share their testomony, there are people coming that were here in the beginning helping Rod and Betty back in 1999 when it all started. It's going to be a big and wonderful day so we just ask that you pray for that day, that everything will go as planned and that all of Martha's hard work will not be lost.
